Welcome to Saucier Veterinary Hospital

Since Dr. Ann and Dr. Askew came to Saucier Veterinary Hospital, the focus has always been quality. We always put the animal's health and care first, while giving the family as much education and help as possible. We have been serving Saucier and the Gulf Coast for many years, finding new ways to make the pet care more affordable and payment plans which are second to none in an effort to make sure pets needs are met.

We care for all types of animals. Dr. Ann, who has been at the hospital since 1997, cares for dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, and exotics.

We have a full staff of trained technicians, receptionists, and groomers that are ready to help with questions, scheduling, payment options, and advice Monday thru Saturday. We refer our after hour emergencies to the Gulf Coast Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Woolmarket.

We offer boarding for both healthy and special needs babies. Our staff conducts a physical exam daily for all patients and boarders.

We have groomers available by appointment .

Our extensive in house laboratory offers CBC, multiple chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytologies, thyroid testing, blood sugar monitoring, and emergency monitoring. Our full surgery suite is fully equipped featuring pulse oximetry, ECG, electrocautery, orthopedic equipment, digital imaging, flexible and rigid endoscopy, and dental equipment.

We carry most familiar brands and products, such as Advantage multi, Frontline Tritak, Trifexis, Comfortis, Capstar, Interceptor, Sentinel, and many others.

Our hospital, as a whole, takes much time to help educate our clients on current medications, disease processes, payment options, zoonotic hazards, treatment options, and other difficult decisions. Our patients, and our clients, become a part of our family.

We provide tender loving care (such as brushing when needed and cuddling) to keep your loved pet healthy and happy. We provide special cozy mats and bedding for lying around. If you choose not to bring your pet's food, rest assured we will serve them the best.

Dental Care

Periodontal disease is one of the most common diseases of dogs and cats. It is also one of the most preventable and treatable. With periodontal disease comes pain, halitosis, and bacteremia that can affect the cardiovascular system, kidneys, and liver - and this is not a disease confined to geriatric pets.

Digital Imaging

Our in-house digital radiology equipment even sports an Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) that enables us to very safely and quickly assess the status of injuries or diseases that may be affecting your pet.

Your best friend deserves the best treatment - that’s why we offer top quality grooming service and the BEST pet shampoos and conditioners. Every Client, purebred or mixed breed is given character by bringing out the best qualities in each one. Our goal is to gain the trust of our clients and their owners. We encourage communication between groomer and owner each visit to ensure a pleasant experience every time.
